Felicidad 45 by Sally Field

Alot of actors and actresses tried their hand at singing sometime during their career and so it was with Sally Field during 1967.

She was a big TV star at the time having had two successful series. She starred in both GIDGET and THE FLYING NUN.

Her singing career was less than stellar. “Felicidad” was her only single to reach the American charts. It received little airplay and only reached number 96 during its four week run. Her voice was weak and could not carry a song convincingly. She wisely did not continue to persue this form of entertainment.

Everything worked out for the best. She would go own to win two Oscars for best performance by a leading actress. NORMA RAE and PLACES IN THE HEART would cement her place in Hollywood history.
