Rag Doll by The Four Seasons

The fourth of five number one songs by the Four Seasons, “Rag Doll” was released June 20, 1964, and spent two weeks on top of the BILLBARD MAGAZINE Pop Singles Chart.

“Rag Doll” was a little more poignant than many of their upbeat hits, which made it stand out. The precise harmonies and Frankie Valli’s falsetto still provided the foundation for their music.

It was one of the first singles I bought as a teenager on the way to a lifetime of vinyl collecting.
