Bobby Rydell was one of the teen idols of the pre-Beatles era, placing 30 singles on the BILLBOARD MAGAZINE Pop Singles Chart, 1959-1965.
His last significant hit as “Forget Him.” Released during the fall of 1963, it reached number four on the BILLBOARD Chart. It was very similar to most of his hits. He was a pop singer with an excellent voice and was able to produce memorable and catchy songs which were perfect for AM radio at the time.
While the hits had dried up by the mid-1960s, he has continued to perform down to the present day. For the last two decades or so he had toured with Frankie Avalon and Fabian as the Golden Boys.
