Geraldine Ann Pasquale was born 2/14/46 and by the age of eight was singing on Art Linkletter’s House Party. At the age of 13 she had the biggest hit of her career.
“Pink Shoe Laces” was a cross between a pop and novelty song. Released during early 1959, it reached number three on the BILLBOARD MAGAZINE Pop singles chart, remaining in the Top 100 for 19 weeks, and selling over one million copies.
It would be the only Top 40 hit of her career. She would be a back-up singer for many years for such artists as Loretta Lynn, Frankie Avalon, Boz Scaggs, and for over a decade Mac Davis. Today she tours with her daughter.
