Mr. Farmer 45 by The Seeds

Mr. Farmer The Seeds

The Seeds will always be remembered for their great garage hit, “Pushin’ Too Hard,” which reached number 36 on the BILLBOARD MAGAZINE Hot 100 during late 1966 and early 1967.

Singer/bassist Sky Saxon, guitarist Jan Savage, drummer Rick Aldridge, and keyboardist Daryl Hooper were from L.A. and produced a brand of raw rock and roll. Their follow-up to their biggest hit was “Mr Farmer.” It was more primitive rock and roll but did not have the catchy hooks of “Pushin Too Hard.” It only remained in the Hot 100 for two weeks peaking at number 86. Great picture sleeve though.
